2023: Petition to RDCK Board to prioritize climate action
​
Recognizing that climate change is impacting our residents right now with floods, extreme heat, landslides and wildfire, the Climate Hub created and shared a petition for residents to sign, asking the RDCK Board to prioritize climate action.
It is the responsibility of local governments to work effectively on local resilience and emission reduction. The RDCK Climate Actions plan is an important tool to help make the transition to sustainability in our communities.
