Come and hear about Kaitlyn Taburiaux’s survey of Selkirk College youth about climate anxiety, followed by several current projects of Youth Climate Corps – one on climate anxiety and resilience building and another which is compiling resources for how youth can take climate action, personally and collectively. We’ll also hear from Nelson City Councilor Nicole Charlwood on how she is supporting youth to run for office in the fall municipal election. Jamie Hunter, local youth activist, will moderate and give an update about successes and challenges of Fridays For Future. We’re super excited about this conversation, so hope you can join us!
