About the event
Join the West Kootenay Naturalists to remove Scotch Broom from a local area. Broom is an aggressive woody shrub, and is also quite flammable. Learn how to identify it, remove it effectively without undue damage to the soil or other plants, and dispose of it properly. Sturdy footwear, hat, gloves and a water bottle required. Some tools will be provided.
