About the event
In the face of the upcoming provincial election, let’s send a clear message to the BC government that BC residents are united in their demand for protection of our rapidly diminishing stands of old-growth forests. With less than 2% of old-growth forest remaining, we are in a moment of urgency to save these irreplaceable living ecosystems. These forests are beautiful sanctuaries and critical habitats for an entire web of biodiversity, and some of the planet's most important carbon sinks.
