About the event

Big decisions are being made by the BC government on LNG and fracking. Learn why you should care and what you can do about it at a public forum in Nelson, sponsored by three local West Kootenay groups. This is an in-person event at Nelson United Church (602 Silica St., Nelson), with Zoom option available to join remotely (click RSVP to register to get the Zoom link).

The forum will feature expert speakers zooming in from around the province to talk about implications of the big decisions the province faces on LNG and gas fracking development.  A local discussion and question period will follow the presentations.

The event is sponsored by The Nelson/West Kootenay Chapter of the Council of Canadians, Doctors and Nurses for Planetary Health Kootenay Boundary and the West Kootenay Climate Hub.
