Join the Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society (CKISS) and the Okanagan Nation Alliance (ONA) for a guided walk through Dove Hill that brings together ecology, culture, and stewardship. The walk will highlight the Dove Hill Enhancement Project and its ongoing work to restore and protect the area. ONA will discuss the cultural value of native plants and the larger ecosystem, while CKISS will guide participants in identifying invasive species, and understanding how to prevent their spread.
