About the event

Learn how disinformation is impeding our ability to act on crucial issues like climate change, and what we can do about it on systemic and interpersonal levels. Disinformation -- false information intended to mislead – is on the rise in our largely unregulated and profit-driven social media ecosystems.

You’ll leave this workshop with tools for having compassionate conversations in ways that connect us to our values, depolarize, and build community connection.

Workshop facilitated by Natasha Edmunds, conflict resolution consultant, and Aaron Korbacher, local educator.

Hosted by West Kootenay Climate Hub, as part of Nelson and Area Earth Days.
