About the event

Stop by the booth to learn about planting eco friendly and invasive plant free gardens as well as Central Kootenay Invasive Species Society's (CKISS) new Nature for Neighbourhoods Program.

The program is available to people living in areas A, D, E, F or H of the RDCK, who have seen knapweed, common tansy or scotch broom on their property, and will pay participants to remove these invasive species from their property through the app Crowdsorsa. The first 20 people to remove these species from their property using the app will earn $20 in EcoBucks to spend on native plants at the 2026 fall KinSeed sale in Nelson.
