Now open to anyone!
We are collaborating with Doctors and Nurses for Planetary Health Kootenay-Boundary for a workshop where participants build, decorate, and take home a free DIY air cleaner that will clean wildfire smoke out of indoor air. To make this happen, we are partnering with SFU, BC Lung Foundation, and Kootenay Seniors, with donations from Rotary Club of Nelson, Nelson Anglican Church, and Nelson Home Hardware Building Centre.
Registration is now open to all; early registration was only open to low-income seniors with no home air purification system. All materials will be provided. Email nelsonbreathes@proton.me with any questions.
