About the event
The Kootenay Native Plant Society is hosting an event featuring three talks on how we can protect our environment, encourage community connections, and support local wildlife.
The Climate Hub will be highlighting how we work to empower local communities by creating connections and collaboration.
Rob Leland from the Interchange Wildfire Resilience Project will share his experience with wildfire mitigation efforts and the collaboration that led to the creation of Monarch Waystation at the Interchange.
The Kootenay Native Plant Society will present on their Milkweed for Monarchs initiative, which provides essential habitats for Currently endangered Monarch butterflies.
